We have the following selected references of special relevance to the renewable energy and marine industries:

Astilleros Españoles (1994-1997): During a three year period, Sven was deputy managing director in this Spanish publicly owned leading shipyard group. He carried out a major survey of the international wind energy markets for the company’s diversification. He introduced this, at that time new and emerging industry to a long series of Spain’s leading engineering companies and started up production and sourcing of key components for this sector. He provided consulting services in relation to the establishment of the major Danish wind turbine producer Micon A/S (now part of Vestas A/S) in Spain.

MAN B&W Diesel (1997-2006): For 9 years, Sven was managing director in Spain for this leading international equipment developer. He provided consulting service to Spain’s largest power group Endesa´s selection of technology for their power plant extensions on the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. Mr Christensen worked closely with major Spanish engineering companies in Spain and with their representative offices in Latin America for their diesel power plant design and specification of technology. Together with the Spanish bank Banco de Sabadell he worked on the design for cogeneration plants for key customers in the Caribbean’s, delivered the prime-movers and negotiated the O&M agreements for such installations. Mr Christensen was responsible for the negotiation of comprehensive O&M agreements for major power and cogeneration plants.

MAN B&W Diesel (1999-2006): For 7 years, Sven represented the group in Latin America as responsible for promotion of Diesel Power plants and  related new technologies including dual fuel/ gas combustion, fuel selection and emission control and reduction. He worked closely with the power facility authorities in Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela for their global and regional power generation conceptual design and hardware selection, and as general marine advisor for the mentioned countries, Chile, and Argentina.

Nordic Wind Invest (2006-2008): Sven has been assigned as General Manager in Spain for this Danish power investor with the task of analyzing and evaluating the Spanish market for wind power and solar energy, as well as establishing relations to international co-operation partners and identifying specific investment opportunities.

Mambisa (1986-1995): For 9 years Aimée worked as fleet operation manager for this major Havana-based ship-owner with 82 merchant vessels. She was responsible strategies for exploitation and renewal of the fleet, chartering capacity calculation, for bookings and handling of maritime transport services.

Cuban Ministry of Transport (1993-1996): For 3 years Aimée worked with diplomatic status as advisor to the Cuban Minister of Transport. She was responsible director for the Executive Secretariat for the National IMO commission, and for the United Nation Development and Trade program UNCTAD. Also she was responsible for the coordination of high-government delegations within the transport sector and the coordination of Chambers of Commerce. Another responsibility was the strengthening of international relations of the Ministry within the maritime sector.

Mar America (1997-1999): For 2 years Aimée was Fleet manager at this Havana based Shipping Company as responsible for the administration and operation of 5 General Cargo Vessels, including the P&L, execution of fleet contracts and application of the ISM-Code.

Antares, Cuban Ship-owners Association(1999-2002): For 3 years Aimée was responsible for the development and implementation of the Cuban fleet renewal programme, and participated in the purchase and sale of vessels for the associated shipping companies, and established the corresponding financing.  She was project manager for a 4x1.400 TEU container vessel newbuildings at Turkish yard, and based on Turkish soft-loan financing.

ING Nationale Nederlanden (2003-2004): For one and a half year Aimée worked as sales executive for this Dutch financial institution in Barcelona. She was responsible for the development and implementation of strategies in selected markets for the sales of financial product including life securities, pension plans and mortgage loans.

Ciecon (2006-2008): Sven and Aimée are working full-time in establishing a network of multinational developers, suppliers, contractors, and investors within renewable energy in Southern Europe, and granting consultancy services to mainly Scandinavian and Spanish companies.
